Dixon Hall’s Volunteer Programs provide more than 1,200 volunteers each year in support of over 75 different programs and services provided in the community. It is this incredible support provided by these generous individuals that makes the operation of many of these programs possible.

Join Our Board or Special Committees

Board Member

Annually, Dixon Hall’s Board of Directors recruits independent directors from the community. The process varies from year to year based on needs of the Board and the expiration of terms of its members. Generally, recruitment occurs in the late spring for nominations to occur at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September.

Committee Member

Dixon Hall’s Fundraising and Special Events Committees are voluntary bodies with representation from clients, community members and various health and business professionals. Becoming a Committee Member is an exciting and meaningful way to get involved and give back to the community.

Student Placements

Dixon Hall is committed to providing meaningful learning opportunities to students to build community capacity, to provide them with experience to assist them in their studies and/or future employment opportunities, and to encourage learning within the organization. Student placement opportunities are generally available for the fall and winter terms of college and/or university.
